ADA Compliance & Accessibility Policy
Parq Event Center is committed to providing an accessible, welcoming, and inclusive experience for all guests, clients, and visitors — regardless of disability or ability. We strive to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the California Unruh Civil Rights Act, and all applicable accessibility laws and regulations.
Parq Event Center maintains accessible entrances to the venue in compliance with ADA Title III requirements. Our primary entrance at 615 Broadway is accessible. If you require information about accessible entry points prior to your visit, please contact our events team at 619-598-4860 or Jill@parqsd.com and we will provide detailed arrival guidance.
We maintain accessible pathways throughout our venue spaces. Our events team works with clients in advance to ensure event layouts accommodate guests who use wheelchairs, mobility devices, or require clear passage. Please inform us of any specific accessibility layout requirements during the event planning process.
Parq Event Center provides ADA-compliant restroom facilities. If you require specific information about restroom locations or accessibility features prior to your visit, please contact us in advance.
We can accommodate guests who use wheelchairs and other mobility devices within our event spaces. When planning your event, please inform your event coordinator of any guests requiring accessible seating, cleared floor space, or other physical accommodations so we can ensure appropriate arrangements are made in your event layout.
Parq Event Center welcomes service animals as defined by the ADA. Service animals are dogs (and in some cases miniature horses) that are individually trained to perform tasks for people with disabilities. Emotional support animals, comfort animals, and therapy animals are not considered service animals under the ADA and may not be permitted in all areas of the venue.
Guests with service animals are not required to provide documentation, proof of training, or identification for their service animal. We ask only that service animals remain under the control of their handler at all times.
We can work with event clients to arrange assistive listening devices or systems for guests with hearing impairments at private events. Please discuss these requirements with your event coordinator during the planning process. Parq's audio infrastructure includes professional-grade systems that can be adjusted for assisted listening configurations.
Event materials, signage, and digital displays can be adapted for guests with visual impairments upon advance request. Our LED screen and display infrastructure can be configured to support large-format visual presentations.
If you require sign language interpretation services for your event, we recommend engaging a qualified interpreter. While Parq does not directly provide interpretation services, our events team can recommend vendors and ensure appropriate staging and positioning for interpreters within the event space.
We strongly encourage all event clients to communicate accessibility needs during the planning process so we can ensure the best possible experience for all guests. Our events team is experienced in adapting floor plans, entrance procedures, bar service arrangements, and A/V configurations to accommodate diverse accessibility needs.
